about
Sons of the Morning Star can be seen as the final form of a metamorphosis. Through the concept of transgression, the Sons of the Morning Star realize, that moral laws are relative in meaning and
application, only thy own will is the law. As formed in the liking of the banned one, cast out from heaven, these followers of the Stellarvore go on to shape their environment in their own liking, breaking the circle of life and death and thus breaking the cosmos itself.

Masterfully crafted web of athmosphere and entertvined blasts of force. Soothing. Yet driving. Sometimes demanding trip into the new dawn. The feeling of pain you get is only that of growing strength and broken shackles. The overcoming of whatever binds you down takes a huge effort and lots of pain. But you will be rewarded!!
Powerfull and beautiful experience. Never a dull moment. veganerd666

and their second release,
Rattenritual doesn't disappoint.
your taken on a dark emotional journey
with plenty of nods to traditional black metal added with stunning melodic moments. lodmpaul

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
The Belgian band explore heavy psych, tribal rhythms, free-jazz freakouts, meditative drone and the vast, shadowy spaces in between. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 22, 2020
